Creating a Wallet
When you first launch Infinity Wallet, you'll be prompted to create a new wallet or import an existing one. Follow these steps to create a new wallet:
- Click on "Create New Wallet" button on the welcome screen
- Set a strong password for your wallet (minimum 8 characters with numbers and symbols)
- Your recovery phrase will be generated - this is 12 or 24 words that can restore your wallet
- Write down your recovery phrase on paper and store it in a safe place
- Verify your recovery phrase by entering the words in the correct order
- Your wallet is now created and ready to use
Important: Never share your recovery phrase with anyone. Anyone with access to your recovery phrase can access your funds. Infinity Wallet will never ask for your recovery phrase.
Import Existing Wallet
If you already have a cryptocurrency wallet, you can import it into Infinity Wallet using your recovery phrase or private key.
Import with Recovery Phrase
- Click on "Import Existing Wallet" on the welcome screen
- Select "Recovery Phrase" as your import method

Protecting your wallet is crucial. Follow these best practices to keep your cryptocurrency safe.
Backup Your Wallet
- Write your recovery phrase on paper and store it in multiple secure locations
- Consider using a metal backup device for fire and water resistance
- Never store your recovery phrase digitally (no photos, cloud storage, or text files)
- Test your backup by restoring it on another device before depositing large amounts
Security Features
- Password Protection: Set a strong password that's different from other accounts
- Biometric Authentication: Enable fingerprint or face recognition if available
- Hardware Wallet: Connect a Ledger or Trezor for maximum security
- Auto-Lock: Configure your wallet to lock automatically after inactivity
Minimum 12 characters

Using Infinity Wallet
Sending & Receiving
Receiving Cryptocurrency
To receive crypto, you need to share your wallet address with the sender.
- Open Infinity Wallet and select the asset you want to receive
- Click on "Receive" button
- Your wallet address and QR code will be displayed
- Share your address or QR code with the sender
- Wait for the transaction to be confirmed on the blockchain
- Your balance will update automatically once confirmed
Important: Always verify you're using the correct network. Sending tokens on the wrong network (e.g., sending USDC on Ethereum instead of Polygon) can result in lost funds.
Sending Cryptocurrency
To send crypto from your wallet to another address:
- Select the asset you want to send
- Click on "Send" button
- Enter the recipient's wallet address (or scan their QR code)
- Enter the amount you want to send
- Review the transaction details and network fee
- Click "Confirm" and enter your password
- Wait for the transaction to be confirmed
Always send a small test transaction first when sending to a new address, especially for large amounts.
Swapping Tokens
Infinity Wallet has a built-in exchange aggregator that finds you the best rates across multiple decentralized exchanges.
- Click on the "Swap" tab in your wallet
- Select the token you want to swap from
- Select the token you want to receive
- Enter the amount you want to swap
- Review the exchange rate and estimated fees
- Click "Swap" and confirm the transaction
- Wait for the swap to complete (usually 1-3 minutes)
Understanding Swap Fees
When swapping tokens, you'll encounter two types of fees:
- Network Fee (Gas): Paid to blockchain validators to process your transaction
- Exchange Fee: Charged by the DEX protocol (typically 0.1-0.3%)
- Price Impact: The effect your trade has on the token price (larger trades = higher impact)
Set slippage tolerance based on market volatility. For stable swaps use 0.5-1%, for volatile tokens consider 2-5%.
Staking
Earn passive income by staking your crypto assets directly from Infinity Wallet. We support staking for Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot, Solana, and many other networks.
How to Stake
- Go to the "Staking" section in your wallet
- Select the asset you want to stake
- Choose a validator (we recommend top-rated validators automatically)
- Enter the amount you want to stake
- Review the estimated APY and any lock-up periods
- Click "Stake" and confirm the transaction
- Your rewards will start accumulating automatically
Understanding Staking
- APY (Annual Percentage Yield): The estimated yearly return on your staked assets
- Lock-up Period: Some networks require you to lock your tokens for a period before unstaking
- Validators: Network participants who validate transactions and earn rewards
- Slashing: Penalties that validators face for malicious behavior (you share this risk)
Note: Staked assets cannot be traded or transferred during the lock-up period. Make sure you understand the unstaking timeline before staking.
DeFi Integration
Access decentralized finance protocols directly from your wallet. Connect to lending platforms, yield farms, and liquidity pools without leaving Infinity Wallet.
Connecting to DeFi Protocols
- Navigate to the "DeFi" section in your wallet
- Browse available protocols or search for specific ones
- Click "Connect" on the protocol you want to use
- Review the permissions being requested
- Approve the connection
- Start interacting with the protocol directly

- Lending: Earn interest by lending your crypto to others (Aave, Compound)
- Borrowing: Use your crypto as collateral to borrow other assets
- Liquidity Pools: Provide liquidity to DEXs and earn trading fees
- Yield Farming: Maximize returns by moving assets between protocols
Risk Warning: DeFi protocols carry risks including smart contract vulnerabilities, impermanent loss, and market volatility. Only invest what you can afford to lose and research protocols thoroughly.
NFT Management
View, manage, and showcase your NFT collection directly in Infinity Wallet. We support NFTs from Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and other major chains.
Viewing Your NFTs
- Click on the "NFTs" tab in your wallet
- Your NFTs will automatically load and display

- Use filters to organize by collection, chain, or attributes
Sending NFTs
- Select the NFT you want to send
- Click "Send" or "Transfer"
- Enter the recipient's wallet address

- Fast: Higher fees, quick confirmation (under 1 minute)
- Custom: Set your own gas price and limit
Advanced Options
- Nonce: Transaction sequence number (usually auto-managed)
- Gas Limit: Maximum gas units for the transaction
- Max Priority Fee: Tip paid to validators for faster processing
- Max Fee: Absolute maximum you're willing to pay
Gas Limit: 21000 units (standard transfer)
Base Fee: 30 Gwei
Priority Fee: 2 Gwei
Max Fee: 100 Gwei
Total Cost: ~$3-5 (varies by network congestion)
Caution: Setting gas too low may cause your transaction to fail or remain pending. Only adjust these settings if you understand their implications.
